"Emo" - a term that used to apply to bands worth hearing, and for the last few years, co-opted to describe an ever-expanding group of middle-upper class kids who decided that being in a band would be a fun way to "get chicks" and "be cool," so they had their parents buy them some good equipment, some tight clothing, and some shitty haircuts. Then, unfortunately, the youth of America gobbled it up as something relevant and realistic, making tools like Chris Carabba seem viable.
