I chose Lydia... but I think MtB deserves my vote just as much. Too bad I only have one vote.

Lovedrug. But the new Deas Vail is amazing, and Minus the Bear are classic.

Awesome list of bands. My vote puts Minus the Bear one ahead of Lydia. No offense to Lydia at all but Menos El Oso was such a great album they might get my vote in any list you put them in.

I voted for As Tall as Lions, but I've been listening to Deas Vail a lot lately. I love Lydia too.

Minus The Bear. Hands down. No question. The end.

As Tall As Lions in second.

P.S. Knights is great, but you definitely could've picked a better song. This Ain't A Surfin Movie, Spritz Spritz, White Mystery, Absinthe Party, Drilling. Any of those would've been a great choice. I'm actually surprised you didn't post Pachuca Sunrise. That's the one most people know and would post.

Minus The Bear: Highly Refined Pirates.
As Tall As Lions: As Tall As Lions.

I'm biased for MTB though cause I thought Pirates was completely and utterly amazing. First time I listened to it, it just struck me the right way on the right day. Alot of people would probably tell you Menos El Oso. Either or, amazing. I loved Planet of Ice, but not as much as their first two. Lions, their new one was really great, but the self-titled got me into them. Same thing might happen for you.

Easily Minus The Bear.

I'm sorry Minus the Bear kicks the rest of these bands to the curb. Have you listened to Planet of Ice?!?! Serious planet of ice is complete flawlessness. I can't wait until the 27th when I finally get to see them!

the whole minus the bear discography. once you do that you could pretty much forget the rest you'll have no need to listen to low quality music

From Lydia, I'd have to say "Illuminate". It's one of my all time favorite albums, their debut ( This December...) is what got me into them. So either one is a good choice to pick up.
