After the amazing record that is catalyst, we've all been waiting to hear new stuff from new found glory, has anyone heard any of these guy's new tracks from the new album due out this september? the most recent stuff i have heard is the christmas song "chestnuts roasting on an open fire" comments?

they are such a great band, AMAZING live too, seen them 7 times now :) hoping to see them soon when this new record comes out, i just want to hear a track or 2 to see what its like :(

When they played at the Ventura Theater it was off the hook.

They put on a damn good live show.

Amazing band.
Catalyst was awesome, I've never figured out how so many people dislike it.

I absolutely LOVE NFG. But how can you say Catalyst was amazing?

New Found Glory Self Titled is one of the best albums I've heard. It was one of the albums that got me into listening to this type of Rock. The Self Titled AND Sticks and Stones are way better than Catalyst. Catalyst wasn't horrible, but not the best.

sticks and stones is easily the best NFG Cd. I saw them once in concert and they were okay :(. Maybe it was just an off night...they through a hand full of picks into the crowd, and i got one :).

cataylst was ok, nowhere near amazing but i am definatly looking forward to some new stuff from these guys

Nothing Gold Can Stay>Catalyst>Sticks and Stones>Self Titled

Self Titled has some of their best songs. but i think Second To last is really weak and Eyesore... the old version was way better. it totally kills the flow of the record.

where in the fuck is NGCS?

Not going to lie to you here, I couldn't really get into it. The production was so TERRIBLE it just made me not want to listen to it so....

I enjoyed the hell out of that cd though. I couldn't get past the poor production on NGCS, but when they play them live, I think they're decent

the production is not THAT bad. and the rawness makes it that much better. if NGCS was remade with the production on par with Sticks and STones... everyone would shit their pants and say "what self titled album?"

I'll wait to hear that then, but I didn't dig the raw sound.

yea it was hard to choose the middle 2... i could easily switch those.

and why thank you. NFG means a lot to me. they were the second band i ever got REALLY into. and they were probably the band i listened to the most through out all of high school.

we should get together and have a NFG party haha

yea. i love sticks and stones. its the one i play(ed) the most. i say played cuz ive now lost it :( i need to get a new copy of it. but its more poppy and i love it. i cant get enough of it.


that would be the best party of all time...


except tj would have to come too so he doesnt throw a fit that i had an nfg party with you and not him

haha tj and i never agree on music..i was actually shocked to see he liked nfg...that makes TWO bands we both love. everything else we can not agree on.

haha I think I was at that show...it was a good show

Catalyst wasn't an amazing record though. It was good but nowhere near their S/T and Sticks and Stones.
