Gunning Bedford is looking for a singer. We are a brand new dancey garage-rock group influenced by bands such as Franz Ferdinand, OK Go, Head Automatica, The Hives, and older acts like early-Elvis Costello and Talking Heads. All of us are aged 22-24 and have had previous band/songwriting/recording experience and some have had tour experience as well. We are looking for someone with vocal and lyrical skill who is also dependable (that is, you will show up to practice when we agree on times and won't blow it off), charismatic (that is, you can be fun/interesting/energetic at shows) and easygoing (you're easy to get along with and don't have an ego). Keyboard chops/music theory knowledge is a plus, but not necessary.
As of right now we're not looking to be The Next Big Thing, but we want to devote some good time to writing, recording, playing out and seeing where it takes us.
