anyways Between the Buried and Me I would consider quite and exceptional band, they manage to infuse a number of different genre's into one cohesive metal sound. Although I do feel that they have found their niche and may not move out of it anytime soon. As far as "brutal" bands which appeal to large audiences, Converge's new album Axe To Fall is absolutely their best to date.

(don't give me that manly-man bullshit, "people just don't even know! it's fucking hardcore"...it's not. Seriously...go to wiki and search hardcore, learn, or ask nicely and learn on here)
2) Your best bet is to avoid bringing up the word "brutal" or you will receive an onslaught of "homgz! itz teh br0000000talz, maaan!" comments. These are not really meant to make you laugh, but to make you feel dumber than shit. And quite frankly, new or not, you should have traversed the site enough to know better before saying in the first place.
3) To contradict myself completely, laugh at everything you see on here, don't take a damn thing seriously and remember that winning an online argument is like winning the special olympics: you're still a retard.
4) You'll eventually learn who on here is nice and who isn't. And who truly deserves your respect, and who doesn't. This isn't a matter of opinion, it's a food chain. Certain members of this site will eat you alive. I myself am still basically a n00b, but have gained some respect.

When I was going through Middle School, I used to LOVE Slipknot. They were my number 1, ever. Always them, that you'd find in my CD Player. Then eventually mp3. After them, It was As I Lay Dying. A few tried to get me into Bring Me The Horizon, but I couldn't. I don't like their style. Their music isn't persay, "total shit" "garbage" "The worst ever" I wont dis them. I don't know them, and I haven't heard more than like 3 songs. I would -guess- that August Burns Red, is the closest I come to 'Brutal'. No disrespect against against BMTH, or BMTH fans.
