How can you even attempt to compare Ryan Adams to Cartel? The two versions of the song are completely opposite of one another.

This is a great cover of the song--sure its not too different than the original, but his voice is amazing, when he holds those high notes its gives me chills. Can't wait to see them on Warped.

And you really can't compare the Ryan Adams version to this, as the tone is far different. Cartel's version is a little more upbeat while Adams' is a very somber, slow cover. Both are amazing--I'll leave it at that.

even though Cartel is one of my favorite bands, I'm not a huge fan of this cover. Maybe that's just because the original is one of the best group/drunk sing-along songs ever in my opinion.

EDIT: alright, I kinda take that back. I just watched the video and it's a lot better than the recorded version. Not as good as Oasis, but pretty damn good

This is okay.

It definitely gets better near the end when he starts singing with passion...

Up until he starts hitting hte high notes, it was very bland to me. This song is just one of my favorite songs of all time and it seemed like Will wasn't being passionate about it at all...but the last half of the song more than makes up for it.

I still get chills hearing the original though. Takes me back to 8th grade all over again...hard to believe it's already been 10+ years...friggin' insane...
