I would have to go with ILAD.

S/T by far. And I'm normally not like that about bands changing. The Used just kept going downhill. In Love and Death is still pretty good, but no go after that. S/T though is one of my all time favorite albums.

Self-titled is really the only plausible answer here, and I don't even care much for that album anymore.

The s/t is fucking perfect for a screamo album. I still go back to it from time to time. ILAD had some great songs, but half were mediocre too. LFTL sucks, haven't got around to listening to Artwork yet.

S/T is the only correct answer. I still spin that album occasionally, but would never dream of playing anything else of theirs (with the exception of "Sometimes I Just Go For It").

None, really, though I chose S/T because I liked Blue and Yellow when the album came out.

The first was amazing. The rest aren't worth the time of day.

So you starting listening to them when you were 9/10?
I heard Blue and Yellow, Taste of Ink, etc. when I was younger. Then when I started getting into music I went back and listened to the Used and wasn't really impressed (but I remembered liking Blue and Yellow as a kid so I went with S/T).

hahaha no one with a straight face really voted for artwork or lies for liars.
Self-Titled is top 10 favorite albums of all-time, so my answer is pretty damn obvious.

In Love And Death has always been my favourite. S/T is pretty good too.

Self-titled.
Blue and Yellow, Taste of Ink, and On My Own. Obvious choice.
Definitely In Love in Death. Amazingness. After that I'd probably say Self Titled.

i voted for lies for the liars. idk i thought that album was completely awesome, but kinda lost it at the song "Liar Liar", next would be In Love and Death, then Artwork, then Self-titled. i know i'll get a lot of shit for that but hey, different strokes. but i do really like all 4 albums so thats what matters.

S/T is far and away their best, and my favorite. I also find ILAD and LFTL to be great as well. Artwork, while not as horrible as everyone I've seen claim, is certainly subpar.

S/T > In Love and Death > Lies For the Liars > Artwork
Hey look, a downward spiral!

In Love and Death came out and that was the first I'd heard of them... not all of us can get into punk when we are 9 like that other guy "did".
Therefore it is the only one I've paid much attention to. Tho for some godknowswhat reason I bought Lies for the Liars. That had a couple of passable songs. As an album? Not passable.

Their S/T was great!
Self titled is my favorite. I hope they play songs from this album on their set list for Nov 11.

although i loved S/T when it came out, was fully stroked on ILAD, so i picked that
read some Pommy mag my friend got when he went over there and it gave Artwork 9/10 and said maybe album of the year, and easily their best album yet, was a half decent/credible mag and had proper interview with artists and a really good interview with Paramore over their in-fighting

not a proper album but Shallow Believer can rival it with LFTL and ArtW.

S/T by far, such a great album.

S/T was their best... but In love and death was pretty good and had one of their heaviest song on it "Sound Effects And Overdramatics" which I really like. I have listened to their newer stuff and just cannot get into it.

s/t > ILAD > Artwork > LFTL
I think Artwork was a step up, and I liked it, although nowhere near as much as their self-titled.

pretty much sums it up for me.
unrelated: would saosin's translating the name be considered screamo, or is that more post-hardcore? i always considered that the perfect album for whatever genre it was.

I voted for Artwork because I feel it's massively underrated and wanted to give it some recognition in some way, but I'd have to go with Self-Titled.

i could never differentiate screamo and post-hardcore anyway
self titled i do like earthquake off of liars
Definitely Self Titled, then In Love and Death. Their last 2 releases were very blah for me. Self Titled is one of the albums that defined my high school years

Lol I like how the numbers drop with each album. It's true in the quality of the albums, too.

Yep. The poll results are pretty much spot on. Although there really shouldn't be any votes for the last two albums.
If I was reviewing their albums for this site, I'd probably have the overall ratings something like:
The Used: 85-90%
In Love and Death: 75-80%
Lies for the Liars: 60%
Artwork: 40%

Self titled was the best in my opinion. I lost interest in the band altogether after In Love and Death.
