better luck tomorrow

I saw better luck tomorrow yesterday. It was a really good movie. If you havent heard about it its about 4 high-school asian students who kinda start a sorta gang, first dealing only in cheat-sheets, later in drugs, guns etc. Later on they accidentaly kill another kid, and the sad thing is this was all real, and it happened a few years ago. My mom knew the kid who died in the movie. Just wondering if anyone else had seen it.

so it's based on a true story, or they filmed these kids actual activities (i.e. like a documentary)?

It was interesting for me and my friend to see it, cus we are like the same age as those kids and we live around the same place
