i dont live in toronto, but about an hour away
and because this SARS shit, i cant go to any shows
i was just wondering if anybody in toronto has gone to any shows lately and if anything bad has happened. oh and if any concerts HAVE been cancelled?? i need to convince the rents to let me go to toronto!

Where are you from? Alot of bands do go to the smaller towns, maby not bands like NOFX or the distillers, but aot of smaller bands do.

im from the k-w area, south from toronto
well ya i wanted to go see millencolin, but thats not happening.
but i have been to guelph for local stuff..where i saw slick shoes

nothing bad' happened that I know of..... slick shoes canceled though.....and I was SUPER pissed cuz it wasn't formally announced. So I went down and stoop outside with like 20 other people, until someone called some friend who is the opening band's manager and found out the show was canceled....

i live in toronto, and ive still gone to quite a few shows. nothing bad has happened as far as i know and things have been pretty cool. but you never know, something might, im takin my chances.
imagine if the toronto scene was ruined by Sars, that would suck. haha.

Peterboroughs scene is pretty good. We get more shows then you would exepct for a town our size. That may change soon, concidering the promoter was banned from all of the venues.

well, He got banned from one cuz he booked a bunch of shows, but didn't reserve the hall, he got banned from another because they hijacked his shows and wouldn't give him any money for them. To get them back he scalped tickets, and that really pissed them. There is one that he wasn't banned from, but they won't let us dance, so nobody has shows there

Thats the plan. I did some work for him before so I have a bit of idaa as to how to go about it , but I'm stiil gonna need alot of help.

oh yeah dude, im real familiar with the peterborough scene. i don't actually live in toronto, its just i go there alot, i mean tons. but yeah i was born in newcastle, and still live there, small town. but yeah ive been to lot's of shows in peterborough, the scene is much bigger there than i expected it would be. is that where your at man, you live in peterborough?

i havent been to any real big ones there. well actually not really any bigger shows at all...mainly just small small local bands froum around the area a bunch of times, dont even remember there names....umm i didnt know a show was goin on on monday...whos playing and where is it ? i might go

Near miss and smakin Isaiah. Little dig and amy's crying are opening. Near miss is fucking amazing! little dig is one of my favorite local bands. I'm not really into amy's crying though, but they're alright.
