The Format have announced the first half of their "Dog Days of Summer" Tour. They will be heading out with Anathallo, Street To Nowhere and a third act, who will be announced shortly. Dates, full details and pre-sale information can be found in the replies.
"DOG DAYS OF SUMMER" FORMAT SUMMER TOUR ANNOUNCEMENT, PART 1
We're happy to announce the first half of this summer's Format tour! We will announce the second half next Tuesday, June 6th. Support for the entire tour will be Anathallo (www.myspace.com/anathallo) and Street To Nowhere (www.myspace.com/streettonowhere). There will be one more act, to be announced as soon as we can confirm them.
PRESALE: A portion of tickets from the annnounced dates will be put on sale this Thursday at ducatking.com (http://www.ducatking.com/). These tickets will go onsale at 1PM (the Time Zone of where the venue is) and will have a smaller service charge than regular onsale tickets. A portion of the profit that ducatking makes also goes to charity (http://www.ducatking.com/charities).
REGULAR ONSALE: The official onsale for the first half of the tour will be this coming Saturday, June 3rd at 10AM. If you can't get tickets during the presale, this is where you'll find them. You can find tickets via whatever ticketing agent your venue uses (ticketmaster, ticketweb, etc).

I hope they will come to Georgia. The Format is one of those bands I've been wanting to see for a long time but never had a oppurtinity to see them.

This is the first leg of the tour the next leg is in the east including the northeast.
I know there's a Toronto date in August.

i hope when they hit NY, they actually hit NYC. most tours that aren't "that big" always go for jersey or long island...and that's understandable since its a bitch getting an actual show in new york city if you're not that popular, but man i don't like having to go all the way to long island from staten island.
Wasn't there something posted on AP.net a week or two ago with a planned tour itinerary? I remember seeing it, but I can't find it again. I know it said that they were going to hit NJ on August 12th.

people sometimes confuse long island with NYC, especially in itineraries. long island is not part of NYC. let's hope they hit a venue in manhattan.
