Secret Girlfriend (New show on Comedy Central)

Has anyone else caught this show yet?

The show stars "you" as the main character. Every conversation is one-sided, and at the moment where you feel you should answer, it moves to the next scene. From time to time you receive text and video messages from your friends. Also starring are your two best friends, Sam and Phil, along with your ex Mandy and the girl your hiding from your ex, Jessica.

I tuned in thinking it was going to be another show that would be one season and then disappear, but i was surprised at how much i actually laughed during it. If you've watched it, what are your thoughts on it? enjoy? dislike? think it might be the stupidet thing you have seen?

It's horrible and unfunny but the girls are hot.
The part where that jessica girl is playing baseball in those short shorts , jesus christ that was awesome.

i personally find this show fucking hilarious! the girls arrr smokin. and its awesome when something sweet happens the main character (you) cause your just like "man i'm sooo gettin laid right now!"

It's a pretty funny show. Cheesy, but funny as hell..Entertaining and a unique concept.

The reason they are, and the reason you "have sex" with the girls in some episodes is so guys will watch it, jack off to it, and thus it will get ratings.... I'm pretty well aware what they're attempting with those particular scenes. And, to be honest? That's not the appeal for me. That's what porn is for...It's a ridiculous premise with ridiculous, mindless jokes...And some witty one-liners.

That being said? It's still fairly original. TV doesn't need to be genius to be original and funny.

Well, different people have different tastes. That's part of what makes comedy great: Dane Cook's early stuff sucks (if you ask me) but his latest special was AMAZING...That's part of the fun of comedy.

I will saym though: Whether you find the "sex" side of the show titilating or not? It's DEFINITELY a male-oriented program. "Star Wars" references and dick jokes...Nothing but.

Well, different people have different tastes. That's part of what makes comedy great: Dane Cook's early stuff sucks (if you ask me) but his latest special was AMAZING...That's part of the fun of comedy.

I will saym though: Whether you find the "sex" side of the show titilating or not? It's DEFINITELY a male-oriented program. "Star Wars" references and dick jokes...Nothing but.

I grew up on Saturday Night Live, so it's mostly satirical, witty, quick comedy that gets me the best. I pretty much appreciate any form of honest comedy though, sitcom, stand-up, etc. whether its in your face or not, really. (As long as it's actually somewhat-smart.)

But damn, I just cannot get this show.

And honestly? Dudes are idiots who like silly jokes. Haha. :-d Personally, though? I have a penchant for honest comedy with a "personal" twist. Story-telling and such...I think that might be why I enjoy the show. It's a story, you get sucked into it, etc.

You know, I didn't learn about how funny that show actually is til about 3 months ago, so now I need to find out where to catch up. Also, I wouldn't consider that show having a vagina, I mean... it's no Gossip Girl.
