View Full Version : New Spiderman 3 on-set photos - Black SM costume?
So yeah, all the usual are there; Regular Spidey, Snaggletooth acting boring and whatshisname. But I thought the pics below were interesting.

Peter looks more "darker" in general, just by the expression on his face and his hair color n what not
i thought it had already been proven there will be a black spidey costume just from the promo picture they released

People are assuming that Venom will be in this right away. I don't think so. I think Peter will get his black costume and have to fight Sandman and maybe another villian (Hobgoblin/green goblin?). They will introduce Eddie Brock and build up Venom for the next movie. I think Eddie will find the symbiote suit at the end of the movie, and become Venom, leading into a 4th movie. In my opinion, that will be a LOT better than just putting Venom in the 3rd one with no build up. It would suck to have him and another villian like Sandman. A movie needs to revolve around Venom.

I agree with this a lot. Besides which, Spidey films are very profitable, so it makes sense to have another cliffhanger.

I just got back from new york on monday. they were filming while I was there in some buildings next to my hotel. I only saw their trailers, but not any of the actors though.

when the first one came out though, it said in the newspaper that tobey mcquire was only contracted to do a total of three films. so unless he decides to renew his contract, then there may not be a fourth one. unless he's already done that and i just haven't heard anything? are there already plans for a fourth?

when tobey almost backed out of 2 due to his back injury, they were ready to hand the part to gylenhaal. once his name came up, tobey's back healed up real quick.

haha ya don't say! Well I'm mean the way that Tobey narrarates the movies I could easily see Gylenhaal (thanks) for the part. Friggin' Tobey. I'm excited to see Topher Grace in this as well. Oh and I hope we get Hobgobblin out of the way on this movie as the b-villain because we know that's going to be bad.

It has a ton of potential to be the best Spider Man movie. And I loved the first 2 a TON.

He was going to take Tobys place for Spider-Man 2 becasue he hurt his back while doing Seabiscuit, but then Toby decided he would in fact, continue the Spider-Man series.
Personally, I think Jake would have done as solid of a job as Toby has. However, I wish they made Toby a tad less geeky.

Peter Parker has always been the superhero that was just at the wrong place at the wrong time. If you saw a guy like Peter Parker walking down the street, you wouldn't even THINK he was an acrobatic superhero. I honestly think Toby has played a flawless Spiderman. Peter Parker never wanted to be Spiderman, he just felt he had to be.

lol he didint turn his coustume black, it turned black from the simyote (or however you spell it) that later inhabited Eddie Brock aka Venom. And Parker does look darker witch is exactly how it should be, im loving this allready

i watched some of the taping in cleveland since im to young to be an extra and it was really sweet and i jake cant just take tobys part i mean 2 movies later and now toby is spider man you cant just give it away now

I think it's mostly becasue i grew up on the early 90s spider-man cartoons and they had a slighly different peter parker
