no because i'm an agnostic.
if i saw one, then yes i would believe in ghosts.
i don't believe in ghosts in the sense that they are people who lived and then died and are back chilling and whatnot.
i believe in angels and demons though.

I have to personally observe things to think that they're real.
For this reason, I say no to all types of spirits, aliens, and gods.

Yes. Miami's east quad used to be an asylum and TB hospital, among other things. Freshman year, a couple friends and I were hanging out in one of our rooms that faced the path that ran diagonal from the corner of the quad to its center. Someone pointed out a girl in a long, early 1900s style dress walking along the path. We looked at her, looked at each other, and when we turned back she was gone. She wasn't anywhere near trees or anything she could have hidden behind.
I voted yes because for some reason I thought ghost were aliens for a second, but no, no I don't.

So you don't think that WWII happened? You know, because you never personally observed it?
Prove it to me that ghosts exist and I'll believe it.

Unsure. I can't really trust all of the internet videos because they're just that. Internet videos. If I saw a legitimate ghost I would believe in them, but until then I'm a skeptic.

Hahahaha thank you for this.

touché. I choose to believe in history because the odds are much more probable, however, yes, I am not completely positive that World War II did happen, but there is substantial evidence backing it, as well as most of history, so I choose to believe in it, whereas with apparitions and divine beings, there seems to be much more myth than any physical proof.

A ghost followed me around for a few weeks a few years ago. So yes.
Only because of this:

I believe in Paranormal Activity...I don't know if that's considered ghosts

I don't because I am an atheist, and ghost would mean that there is an afterlife.
So basically, if I saw a ghost, I would have an existential crisis and probably kill myself if my brain didn't explode.

The Holocaust never happened.
Black were never slaves.
England doesn't exist.
9-11 never happened either.
Star Wars is really a documentary.

did you even read the comment you quoted? I believe in all those events because I have been taught my whole life that they exist, and there is sufficient evidence to back it up when I question it. When I question religion and/or apparitions, there is no definitive answer, and therefore I am not convinced.

Ha, well you said that you can't be 100% positive that WWII happened... then I just felt like reinforcing that point to a ridiculously unnecessary extent.

didn't you know? the show Supernatural actually happened.
...yes, i believe in ghosts, but i believe most of them are lost souls and only very few of them are actually vengeful. but i'd be scared shitless if Supernatural really was real.

I'll say yes. Mainly cause I watched Ghost Adventures Live like a week ago. They got some stuff which I wouldn't be sure how it could have been some sort of editing/special effect. Plus there's a supposed "haunted" house called Wolfe Manor that's about a couple miles away from where I live that's all gated.

That's actually pretty awesome sounding.
I said yes myself. Even though I've never seen one I constantly feel like somethings watching me.

No.
If someone told me something like "This room is haunted by the little kid who was killed here." I wouldn't be afraid of a ghost, or expect to see one, but knowing the history would really freak me out.

I do, but only because I've had two experiences happen to me, that are as real as me typing this right now. I know people are skeptics until they have their own experiences, and that really makes sense, because I was as skeptical as they come before I was personally staring into the eyes of a ghost. If the stories were at all short, I would describe them, but it would probably take a long time to put it into words.

That came out much more controversial than intended. I'm saying that I can not be entirely sure of something unless I have witnessed it first hand, and therefore I am not completely sure that World War II did happen. Or anything before my life time, for that matter.

I don't believe in ghosts because I don't believe in souls.
People see ghosts because they want to see ghosts and feel like they, too, can survive after death.

Nope, completely romanticized concept. Everything from the limitations of human perception to effects of magnetic activity are more likely to account for any such experiences.

Yes. But not in the mainstream idea, more in the sense that energy of a being lingers, or that things are so deeply rooted in the a place that they never really leave.
No ghost walks around in a sheet, and I don't believe in the "ghost in a dress from the 1800s walking down the halls" type of thing either.

The ghost in the sheet sounds more convincing than the lingering energy. ha.

I don't know, it's more of my personal belief of people being so strongly connected to a place that you can still "feel" them. kind of like those lame poems where the kid's friend dies and he feels his friend's presence anywhere. Stupid, I know.
