What was the last cd you bought and do you recommend it? Mine was Autopilot Off's EP and its good stuff. I knew that already but felt I should support the band.

It was either Buchofuckingoofs-Barrage of battery and brutality Or Propagandhi-Todays Empires, Tomorrows Ashes. I would definatly recomend propagandhi to anybody. That is one of the most inspireing CDs I have ever gotten. Bunchofuckingoofs is a great CD too, but it might be a bit hard for some of you to listen too.

I also got the new Lagwagon on that same trip and its really good, alot better then there last one.

its pure insanity, i dont even know how to comprehend it...its weird because if you think about it, they actually sat down and came up with every part of the cd...and there is so much going on at once, its hard to follow

I don't buy too many CDs, since I get sent promos a lot - but the last CD I was sent was Silverstein:When Broken is Easily Fixed. It comes out May 20th, if I'm not mistaken...

But the last CDs I actually bought are:
The Fight:Home is Where the Hate Is
The Ataris:So Long, Astoria

the last "punk" cd i bought was AFI's - sing the sorrow -, which is unsuprisingly an aqmzing CD. The last cd i bought in general was godsmack's -faceless-.

And while i did like godsmack better the 1st time, when they were called Alice in Chains, this also a great Cd if you like metal.

godsmack isn't metal.

if you want to hear real metal listen to Converge and Slayer.

SLAYER? I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THEM!!

What do you take me for? I've been listening to metal long before i got into punk, and I own CD's from both of those bands. I agree tho, Godsmack is probably more of a nu-metal/grunge hybrid.

Last CDs I bought were: the Ataris- Look Forward to Failure, AFI- Sing the Sorrow, the Donnas- the Donnas Turn 21. I got the AFI cd at Hot Topic for $10 (I was returing a shirt there, I'm never shopping there again because their shirts fall apart), and I walked into Best Buy 10 minutes later, and they had it for $6. I wasn't happy. Good cd though, along w/ LFtF. And Godsmack is a good band. Not one of my favorites, but I can listen to them for more than 10 minutes.

6 dollars for a CD ??
granted it was AFI, but still, 6 bucks is really cheap.

Hoodster
04/27/03, 08:59 PM
Yea, well that's cause they aren't very popular out here yet. Last year I got the Atticus comp at Wal-Mart for $6, so I was happy.
