Two monumental albums. Which one suites your fancy?

The Fragile suites mine.

Great poll!

I voted Fragile - not only is it one of my all time favorites, from my all time favorite band, but also because that album helped me through some of the worst times of my life. It's such a tremendous body of work and I feel it's often overlooked because people are intimidated by its length. The transitions between songs are totally seamless and just perfect. I've never heard an album that's surpassed this one in gorgeous layering of sound.
TDS is also amazing, but The Fragile is just king. A masterpiece in every way.
Plus, Just Like You Imagined is arguably the most epic rock instrumental ever recorded. Challenge that statement all you want but I stand by it.

k I'm done.

The Fragile, definitely. If you say otherwise, it's probably because you haven't listened to it.

ehh...hard to choose. DS is pure nostalgia for me and the Fragile tour was one of the best concerts i've ever been to.

easily their best 2 albums.

Agreed.

The Fragile is just as good in terms of quality and such (and you can say it has more and better moments of pure beauty like La Mer), but the Spiral is more condensed and the concept is followed flawlessly. Exactly the kind of album an album was meant to be.

Or because you prefer the other

I'm not surprised The Fragile is losing, but I am surprised it's not closer...

totally unintentional pun but I'm leaving it there anyways
