re-released as in a second pressing of a rare record or pressing an album that was never pressed on vinyl?

Muse - Absolution
Bon Iver - For Emma, Forever Ago
The Beatles - Rubber Soul
Neil Young / Crazy Horse - Everybody Knows This is Nowhere

if we're talking a limited pressing, i'd say lifetime - jersey's best dancers or new found glory - self titled

Hello Bastards on vinyl, I would kill to have the only copy. I would pillage a small town for NFG's s/t on vinyl, since I do not have it.

I've seen a lot of these in stores on vinyl brand new in the past month. They're not that hard to find.

Isn't everything recorded digitally whether it's put onto CD or vinyl? So they should sound the sameish, no? Or at least, the "warmness" that people are always on about isn't the same "warmness" from your parents collection?
I don't get the vinyl thing, someone explain the appeal?

Not a "re-release" per se (since I don't think it was ever released on vinyl to begin with), but I'd love to have dc Talk's Jesus Freak on vinyl.

I'd want it rereleased just for myself, hahah. I'm selfish and wouldn't want anyone else to enjoy it. :p

Although that is pretty cool, I wonder if it's real. The description says it's an "official CD-R released by the company," but how hard would it be to burn their CD onto a CD-R and print up a cover insert?

It seems pretty legit. I hope its real, because I would definitely want that.
