Chapter VII: The Beast From The Earth

Upside-down faces line my wall
lipless I kiss, eyeless I watch
for rain to fall in my bedroom mirror
to drown all the lovers and wipe the slate clean

I'll make you one to believe
in this web I so carefully weave

I'll build my arc of stick and stone
one to sink, one to float
a vagabond prophet painted in script
reads "I am the alpha and the omega"

and I'll be your muse in the end
whisper sweet lies to your death

I like this, especially;

lipless I kiss, eyeless I watch

I don't like the title very much, but the actual thing is really good. I really like it. Good work.

I meant you ripped off the Shins...

ass.

You know what I meant to, I can tell from your post.

Cue: "I've never listened to the Shins"

I don't care what the shins called one of their songs, it's a good song but it wasn't on my mind when I wrote this song. If we start condemning all combinations of words that have been used before then there won't be much more to write.
