I heard this game is realllllly hard. That is not a good sign because it's going to be hard to pick it up for a rookie.

This game looks cool, but I dont want to drop $100 on it. I wish I knew someone who had it so I could try it out. But from the sound of this thread, it's a difficult game and my A.D.D. will have me playing it for 3 days and never playing again (hense the fact that I only own 3 xbox 360 games) I always buy a game and never play it for more than a week. What I waste of money for me, but sometimes I just gotta try it.

I bought it yesterday. My initial thoughts are that its pretty awesome. So far all the mixes I've played have been good. I've only been playing on medium. I'd imagine they get better to play--like in GH--when you jump up to Hard or Expert.

There are a lot of things you can do which are both good and bad. With Guitar Hero it was easy to pick up and play and nearly anyone could do it. Hit button, strum. With DJ Hero, it's not that simple to just pick up and play. There are sliders, knobs, scratching ON TOP of the three buttons--just a lot moving parts and that equal a lot of variation. Which for anyone is hard to pick up on.

However, once you get use to all the little nuances it becomes extremely fulfilling and fun.
