no long december? no Mr. Jones? Those two would make it so much more worth it.

I will be reviewing this as I plan on getting my copy in the mail next week. I'm a bit disappointed by some of the song choices, but i'm still really eager to hear it.

i love counting crows, but i HATE how much he changes the melodies/lyrics live. if i wanted to see someone completely disregard the vocals they laid down on an album, i'd go to a christina aguilera concert.

Amazing band but some of the way he changes songs up live are almost unlistenable

They just spent three weeks in the studio and apparently their next album is going to be a double one and that they finished the first half with that time recording.

i guess it's just a matter of preferance. i personally like how they alter the lyrics/melodies. Mewithoutyou does the same. I see it as, if i wanted to hear exactly what is on the album, i would listen to the album. can't wait for this.....

What would be the point of even attending a concert if you know exactly what you're going to get?

i don't mind a little bit of difference, but he makes the song seem like completely different songs. and, sorry, but the melodies he thinks up off the top of his head at shows suck. it's like a bad cover band playing counting crows songs.

the lack of Angels of the Silences on this album make me sad.
Let's get away.

I remember when no one liked them. Now that Panic At The Disco said something about them, everyone is creaming their pants over them. Or maybe people have always liked them, I dont know. But thats how it seems to me.

Like said some change is great but he changes the songs so much where it hardly sounds like the album version on some songs (in a very bad way)

No. But I never really paid attention/listened to Counting Crows, so I wouldnt know if people liked them or not before Panic mentioned them. I knew they had fans, but not that many fans. Oh well.

seriously, this is a joke, right? you're gonna be like, 'ha ha, i fooled you, i was just kidding.' dude, who the fuck bases what bands they listen to on something a flash in the pan band like panic at the disco says? august and everything after was like the best thing since sliced bread when that shit came out, and it still is. panic at the disco could never even dream to have the staying power that the counting crows have. counting crows had ten times as many fans as panic at the disco, when all of the members of panic were still in middle school. oh my god i don't get fired up about much, but i would fucking punch you in your gross emo kid mutton chops if you were here right now, that is such an asinine question to ask. oh my god.

looking back over this tracklisting...this is a pretty good mix of songs. playing a lot of stuff that wasn't on the last live album that is sitll old.
sure adam duritz changes things live, but that's what he does. sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. it's all a preference.
and to the killer up there...i think what the kid is saying a lot of kids in this scene are getting into counting crows cause panic! have said they like Counting Crows. He may be inaccurate, but I don't think it deserves a punch in the face.

Counting Crows was a Gold/Plantinum selling band for a good chunk of the late 90's and even as of late.
I'll definitely buy it, I can't wait for the new album, if there indeed is one.
