the album that really helped me to learn and was easy to get used to playing fast was "they're only chasing safety" by underoath or "new medicines" by dead poetic...
copeland's "beneath medicine tree" is real easy too but fun

Oh I know, but just when you're starting out they're perfect for letting your fingers get use to playing.

radiohead: paranoid android, exit music (for a film)
sufjan stevens: john wayne gacy, jr.
iron & wine: boy with a coin
william doyle: cold crown
and im still working on "tomorrow tomorrow" by elliott smith. i know HOW to play every note of that song, the problem is just doing it. the speed of the fingerpicking in the first half of that song is ridiculously hard to keep up, i start out okay but then my fingers get tired and lazy so fast.
