The Early November (www.theearlynovember.net)'s new e-card (http://www.drivethrurecords.com/theearlynovemberecard2/) (part 2 of 3) for "The Mechanic" disc of The Mother, The Mechanic, and The Path debuts today! The album(s) hit shelves on July 11th (http://www.absolutepunk.net/calendar.php?do=getinfo&e=610&c=3).

People were afraid that the quantity of songs on these three CDs would hurt the quality of the music.

I hope people can now see how NOT true that argument is.

the first song sounds like foo fighters or some 'rock' band.
'rest of my life' sounds like a say anything song with ace singing.

i think it will be a good cd(s?) but i doubt it will top my 06 list; however i could be surprised i guess.

I'm going to LOVE this release, from what I've heard. I really love The Air Will Be Clearer/No Good At Saying Sorry, and Rest of My Life. Overall, I think I like the Mother a little more than the Mechanic, but I still love what I've heard of both.

yeah that first one, not very TENish at all.

im glad they are keeping the price down though. i would do the preorder but.. i really dont want a shirt that everyone is going to have. giftcard it at circuit city : )

Im not overly impressed, but those songs are pretty good. I just want to listen to all three albums in their entirity before I say if I really like it or not.

i also second the notion that this blows. I really like TEN alot, but i dont think of this as a "rock" cd, its just not that fast or anything its just bleh to me! The first disc seemed killer, although i like the last two songs on this ecard, even though i have them on my comp. However, i have high hopes for this cd!

i dont know where i got it but i have "no good at saying sorry" on my itunes with a play count of 22. i listen to it all the time on my ipod so the count is probably higher...so what i am saying is that i am in love with that song!
i think i am going to like the mother more than the mechanic. i am so excited for this release.

ok am i the only one who thinks that people who believe this cd is going to suck actually suck themselves. the album is not even out yet and already you are dismissing it. the early november has always stuck by what they play and who they are as musicians. they know who they are and what they play which makes them incredible. plus they are just amazing guys who at every show would apologize for not having new music to play and still rocked just as hard with music from the room's too cold and for all of this. now they finally have new music to play. all i know is i am very excited for this new cd and will wait by my door until my cd gets here.
