I don't mind crowd surfers if they do it once in awhile. But when they continuosly come back and over again and again it gets annoying. The one thing I do hate is the people that stand towards the front and complain about getting pushed. If you don't like getting pushed then stand in the back or don't go.

i dont crowd surf, but i mosh at every show i go to. how can you not ? its so much fun, and me being a big guy ( 6'2" , almost 200lbs ) i dont have to worry about hittin the wrong fuckin people

I saw greenday three years ago in some medium sized club. It was crazy, completely sold out as it was green day and tickets were only $15. I got dropped by some fuckin teenies and fell on my head. i had NO idea were I was for a while, fought my way out of the crowd and told some security guard what happened. Went back stage to see the "doctor". The venue was ghetto as fuck, all they had was a fold out table and water. The doctor guy made me sit and talk to him for an hour or so until he was sure I wouldn't pass out. I kept trying to get up to go watch the show cuz i heard the crowd going fucking nuts, but the asshole wouldn't let me go. Turns out that I didn't need stitches, but the back of my shirt was covered in blood by the end of the night.

you cant hate crowdsurfing, its part of the show, just like moshing is. If you're at the front, dont expect it to be a calm environment, yes you will get squished and you will get your head kicked a couple times, but deal with it. I got a tooth knocked out in the pit years ago but i dont go complaining about moshing. Moshing rules.

The most annoying kids are what I would label the edge pit kids. These kids dont have the nuts to go into the actual pit, but they just stand on the edge pushing kids, and i always get pushed when im tryin to step out for a sec. quite annoying

yeah, i'm one of those asshole who likes to crowdsurf. ive gotten kicked in the head and knocked under the crowd by surfers at a finch concert, and at the same concert i got punched in the balls by someone while i was surfing (guess i kicked THEM in the head or something). so i guess my advice would be to stand in the back if you don't like it getting a little rough, or be prepared if you insist on being up front. also, take 2 seconds and pry your eyes off the band to look around and see if there are any crowd-surfers coming near you, that way it won't be as unexpected.
