Okay, so im buying a new vocal mic.
I've already been through a senheiser or however you spell that
and im not a fan.
I had a Shure SM58 for a while and fell in love with it.
Should I stick with the SM58, or go with something else?
Do you guys know any better mics for screaming?

Shure SM-7B is the industry standard for recording screaming vocals. For live, I would choose an SM-58, Beta 58, SM-57, or Beta 57.

Yup the 58 and 57 are pretty much the same mic but the 57 doesn't have the windscreen.

I'd say the SM58. Also, I'd see what other screamers use.

Yeah, and a lot of vocalists in heavy music get their sound by overdriving the capsule in the 57

Definitely the 58. The best part about them I think is the fact that they can take a beating and still sound brand new.
I use a Blue Bluebird microphone. They sound fucking amazing for any kind of singing.
