My Friend (Who hates punk): You know, I really hate that punk shit you listen to. Its all my sister listens too. Although she had this one CD that was really good.... AFI was the band. I saw their cideo on MTV2 the other day, "Girl's Not Grey" and I have to say that AFI is probably the best new band of the year, so far."

yea it's fucking ridiculous. whenever people tell me to listen to a certain band and tell to cause they're punk i go" what kind? ppop punk old school or what?" and they're like "i dunno" punk has so many varities now. you can't explain punk anymore. at least i don't think so. or at least not in one way that everyone could agree on.
