too bad your fucking opinion sucks. sound the alarms is a fast paced great album. they even have old school in there with the song "bones" and then songs that show their harder angier side like "head for the hills" chris connely is a genius. im sorry if you were hoping for through being cool pt.2 but people mature sometimes for the worst sometimes for the better. im saying STD did for the better. in reverie wasnt too grand but this album was my money well spent.
soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
suck it ;)

You're an idiot. Don't tell someone there opinion sucks because you disagree with it.
On that note, I got tired of this album fast. I haven't listened to it since the maybe the first week in may. Moneen's was way better and that still just kinda bored me.

Agreed, nowhere near as good as their previous work. I'll stick with "Stay What You Are"

How come on AP when someone says a band stinks or their record suck the next reply is usually "you are a fuckin idiot" or "go die" or something? Is AP the new punknews.org?

not only was i let down by the album but by all the hype that came along with it. it seems everyone who got a pre-listen was claiming 'sound the alarm' would put std back on the map. right. and some guy who worked on the record said it was his favorite std album ever. i'd rather listen to 'in reverie'.

stay what you are is probably my favorite. nothing can top that
i never fully appreciated in reverie until they played some songs off of it live. holy shit. i started listening to that cd a lot more. ive always liked it, but seeing some of those songs live really changes the way you think about those songs. sound the alarm is also a good cd. people should give their full evaluation of the music, and not just say it sucks.

I love Sound The Alarm. In Reverie took about a year before I could get into it, but now I love it. Stay What You Are is a masterpeice...Can't Slow Down is old school and awesome, but my favorite will probably always be Through Being Cool.

sound the alarm is great. it's got the elements from all of their previous cds. for that reason, it's probably my favorite; i like to hear the various influences in one cd. can't slow down is probably my second favorite. in reverie is decent but it's tough to get into and listen all the way through.
