I'm kind of saddened that it's just their 3rd Draft album with "Forgive & Forget" added, as I was hoping for more new music, but it still kicks ass.

Basically, the same here. The second album did have a couple good songs like "Glow" and "These Days" and maybe on other, but the rest was pretty mediocore. I did love their video for "These Days" though. They crashed the BET Awards or something, and everyone was kind of like "WTF?"
Personally, I hope these guys bounce back. I do see they also have two new members. I was aware of one change, but after going to their myspace page (which is incorrectly linked here) I saw the second change.

This album rules hard, EASILY their best release to date.

This cd is already available on ITunes. It's decent, along the lines of Truant, but a little heavier.

I saw them open for 311. They sucked. The lead singer was a dick, and he came into the crowd and bought drugs about 2 feet from me.

Personally I thought truANT was much better than ANThology. So much more creativity and diversity on that album. I can't wait to see how this new album turned out though.

I thought "Movies" was a great song too, and the first album had some pretty good songs on it... i figured they kinda went into hiding cause the singer broke his neck or some shit.

I thought they got dropped from their major label but maybe they were picked up again. I'm happy to see a return from these guys even though I dont expect much. Like everyone has said they had a good song in Movies and then it was like whats next. They did a small tour around here playing really small clubs, hell they even played the Tri Cities and they rarely get any shows.

Oh yeah, and I don't know what most of you people are talking about...every song from TruANT is amazing, and ANThology is really good too.

holy crap they are still on a major? damn. thought theyd be dropped off the face of the earth
AAF in Richmond June 17, 7:45pm at Tredegar Iron Works. GO!!!
They are not on a major label. They are unsigned. However, the CD is being released by the parent company of Geffen, since they'd already put money into having it recorded.
And the CD was NOT called 3rd Draft. It is actually untitled. Some people got a copy of the CD, saw the words 3rd Draft written on it and took that as the name. It's simply part of the artwork of the CD.

Wow talk about a change. I like 5000, I wont lie. And after going to their page that band has had a complete overhall over the years (more than once Id say).
edit: Ok, Im not sure about these new songs.

Truant wasn't as good, but still great.

They will always be underrated. It's unfortunate however, as ANThology was one of the records that kept me going when it came out, and TruANT had it's good qualities as well. Haven't listened to this one enough yet to decide if I love it or not.
terrible terrible band, no thanks

I remember seeing these guys open up for Orgy way back when they were starting. That's when I was like AAF is going to blow up one day. Now I only need Orgy to put out another album!
