Who likes the new AFI album?
I think it's better than Sing The Sorrow,
but it takes a few plays to take it in.

I just picked it up. I've only heard a handfull of the songs the whole way through, and the rest I just skimmed over since I was about to get out of the car. I must say though, I liked what I heard. I'm really digging "The Interview." I'm very interested to hear some of these songs live.

Yep. AFi were the first "punk" band I ever listened to. I got the All Hollows EP for five dollars along with Punkorama 8 and the Misfits collection one. DU is a good cd, but I want to hear the bonus tracks. I didnt order it off Itunes because I dont have an Ipod video and wanted to look at all the cool things they put in the booklet.

Anyway, Decemberunderground is brilliant. Fuck the old school "fans". Decemberunderground is their most varied album, it has the best instrumentals they've ever done, the best melodies they've ever done, and it's great to see them completely move away from the fast "punk" they used to have.

It's one thing to just not like it, but it's quite sad to see people so quick to go UGH SELLOUTS just because YOU don't like the new sound.

I'll take good melodies over fast punk where most of the songs on the album sound the same anyday, but that's just my opinion.

Best AFI CD yet.

I think that and Love Like Winter are by far the standout tracks on the album.

the bonus tracks are good but nothing amazing. but i really like the cd. at first i was kinda dissapointed by the way songs like Kill Caustic sounded, but there's some great stuff on the cd.

My favs are The Killing Lights, 37mm, and The Interview.
