and to the people saying "wait until you get to college, it gets much better" - that's only half right. yes, in college there are a higher percentage of good looking people but once you get out of school, the selection goes downhill quick. So i guess the moral of the story is, meet someone amazing while you're in college so you can stop looking after that. I wish I had been given this advice when I was your age.

Don't sell yourself out so short, man... If she thinks you're attractive, own it. Trust me, you have so much more to be focused on and concerned with in a relationship than whether you're attractive to the girl who thinks you're attractive. Thinking like that won't get you anywhere. She likes you and you know it, so act like you know it. Just ask her out. The longer you leave it the more she'll realize how shy and insecure you are and that's not a good thing.
