I've always felt that all of John Nolan's projects (and TAYF) are overrated. They're not bad, by any means, and Ace is actually pretty overrated too, but The Room's Too Cold was just too good for me not to vote Ace.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of Nolan era TBS and Straylight Run but his voice is, in my opinion, the worst thing about his songs. Ace's singing on When I Hit The Ground is probably the best I've heard it.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of Nolan era TBS and Straylight Run but his voice is, in my opinion, the worst thing about his songs. Ace's singing on When I Hit The Ground is probably the best I've heard it.

i voted ace, they're both good.. but, like you, i think john's voice isn't that awesome.. not that ace's is either. i think nolan is the better musician, but i just like ace more.
