So I downloaded a leak. My first one in I don't know who many years. It was Wale - Attention: Deficit. I just could not wait any longer. So I gave it a listen. On my headphones. I was let down. I was just not feeling it. Then today. It came out. I bought it to support an artist I have loved for awhile. I put it in the car. I drove home bumping it. I fucking love that record now. Maybe it's the listening experience? No matter I just love that record now. Even in my headphones its gold. So the question is what albums did you hate after hearing a leak or a stream or something but then loved when you owned it? And why. Discuss

Quite a few, but that has more to do with giving a particular release the time it deserves than sound quality.

True. But the sound quality was fine on the leak. Sounded almost the same to me. For me on this time it was the way I listened. It's happened before to. I listened to it for a good week before release. Just didnt do shit until I popped it into my Cd player

Probably had to do with the mood you were in.

I find that my differing speakers and listening devices highlight different aspects of records, but none of them alter the overall quality. Only time and a change of taste does so.

I don't download near as much music from leaksites as I found that the quality just isn't there. Even in a high quality rip(V/O,Scene Release.320), everything sounds much better of a CD.

Yeah, sometimes I don't really like an album when I hear it digitally on my computer, so I usually wait to purchase it so I can hear it either in my car on a great surround sound stereo or on my record player. It gives it a different effect instead of just listening through a pair of headphones.
