Meh, I didn't like them before they turned out to be arrogant arseholes, so I don't see why this should change anything. Still, it made me laugh quite a lot. AP PUNX UNITE!

the whole interview ordeal aside, I cannotstop liking this band. they make great pop tracks. and i like everything i have heard so far. very excited about the album.

I still dig this band though, as much as I don't want to. They're sort of a guilty pleasure.
whoever writes the lyrics to their songs, needs to kill themselves, because that is some terrible writing, i cant believe people like this stuff.

Yes, as long as we have staff who wish to continue posting news about a band, why shouldn't we post about CIWWAF? Jason didn't like the new Forgive Durden album but Scott (and I want to say...Gabe) really enojoyed it. To stop covering a band because of a personal dislike really isn't fair to readers, is it? We still post shit about Aiden when we get it (there's just usually not anything good to post as opposed to us not wanting to post it).

I've given them the opportunity to answer every single interview question asked originally that was rumor-based that I could find, and Matt Squire will even be answering questions about the production aspect of the album. I should have that up in a day or two.

Besides, short of legally changing his name, what the hell do you expect him to do about the name his parents gave him? It's original and guess what? People are going to remember that name.
i'm guessing fbr is pissed at you?They're not pissed at Jason. As I've been saying all along, Jason's opinions on the band are on one band, not the label. He doesn't like them, and obviously John and the guys at FBR know that he isn't turning around and saying the label sucks. Music is opinion, and Jason's opinion is that they're a crappy band. He just has a lot bigger medium with which to give his opinion. On the same token, the label told me they wanted to give CIWWAF a chance to clear the air and answer everything out there and since the plan was to originally do an interview for Absolutepunk, they'd like to do it if Jason would post it. If he wasn't, I was told they'd post it on the FBR site, but Jason has no problem with it. So I should have it ready to go whenever I get both parts back and proofread them.
That said, since I have not heard the CD, I'm intrigued to hear this new track on Purevolume.

tony's explinations are probably the best and everyone should go back and read what he's said about this situation
as for me i'm accually liking what i'm hearing from this cd. i really don't care if they use auto tune, or if someone wrote the damn songs for them. there catchy as hell and i'm still going to buy this cd when it comes out.
honestly i think everyone should give them a shot without paying attention to what's going on between jason and the band. unfortunetly people form their opinions on a band based on what someone else thinks. hope everyone can look past that. (i still love that jason did it because it kept me from being bored for a few days.)

As much as I enjoy/am sure they deserve Tate putting them in their place, their songs are catchy as hell. From what I've heard of them I've only really liked one on of the songs and the rest were either decent or pretty good, but I still have hope.
I mean, hell, squire produced this.

a producer can't do anything about the material the band puts out. All a producer does is enhance the listening pleasure.
Not to say that producers don't have any talent, but if a record sucks, then the BEST producer couldn't do anything to make it amazing.

shaant has always been a genuine guy to me and my band. i can't say the same thing for Fred (knowing how he pushed my girlfriend out of the way, no excuse me and not even a apology. let me re-phrase that, SHOVED my girlfriend.) Fucked up, but none the less, i think the band is a catchy band and i know Shaant means well.
