Jack's Mannequin (www.absolutepunk.net/jacksmannequin) will be hitting the road with O.A.R. (http://www.myspace.com/ofarevolution) starting tomorrow until the middle of August. A lot of these shows are assigned seats, so the sooner you get your tickets the better. The band is the only support on the tour, which means you can expect them to play a 45 minute set. This really sucks because my distaste for assigned seats at a show and even more so for OAR (I fucking fell asleep when I saw them play 4 or 5 years ago because the goddamn songs kept going on and on and on . . .) outweighs my love for anything Andrew McMahon has his hand in. :(

PS. He was on Daily Download yesterday and looks better than ever. He mentioned about starting up with SoCo again after he's done touring with JM. Exciting.

hahahaha all of you asking who put this together...

it was andrew and o.a.r. something corporate toured with them forever ago, and the andrew grew very close with that band. he wanted to do another tour with them, and he's doing so. i think most of you will hear o.a.r.'s new stuff and love it.

I would kill for a headlining show here in Seattle. I saw him play right before he got sick in a small venue for like 100 people and it was amazing. I cant believe it but I think I am going to pass on this for all the reasons listed above. Price, OAR and seats.

I coulda seen OAR for free back in 03 (or 04?) at universal studios but i had no idea who they were and thought it was a joke band cause not even the people working there had any idea, so we didnt watch. lol
