Digital music is great. in a sense that I have about 600 of my cds in boxes in my closet and about 150 next to me for easy access for certain things. and all of it available on my computer either way for quick play and for making copies for playing in my car etc.. and not worrying about what jackass decides to steal my cd folder when im parked outside the mall or whatever.

But that physical copy, holding that album in my hand, the artwork, the booklet, the presentation (hence my preference for digipak's) will never sit second best to anything. theres a certain satisfaction in that and looking at a picture of album art on your computer is only so rewarding. especially with reduced quality of sound, and reliability of computers.

It won't be the future until those companies allow you to keep the music and allow you to put them on any media player (the iPod).
