have you tried talking to her and seeing what she thinks of the situation?

I'm sure if you guys had a messy break up that she doesn't want you there just as much as you don't want to be. Maybe she can come up with a way to get you somewhere better in New York so you could actually have some fun, or at the very least, a real way home that isn't so risky.

Just try and sit her down and try not to be accusatory. Don't be all like "bitch blah blah blah", but be nice about it. Explain how it's a shitty situation, and you both obviously didn't intend for it to work out the way it did. Maybe it will at least make her your friend again, so if you do have to stay, it won't be a totally bad trip.
