I could only watch so much of this it seemed so awkward.
The moment he started cheesing for the camera (after that endless amount of cheering & clapping) I knew it was just going to go down hill from there

Lopez actually felt more comfortable doing his show than Fallon did when he first got it and its actually better than all those other talk shows because they are all the same!! I enjoy Conan every once in awhile and Fallon isn't bad but its pretty much the same show right after each other except with a different guy. Lopez actually brings something MUCH different than what you see on tv so i dont see why everybody is hating on him. And his comedy isn't for everyone because you just might not understand it but you guys can continue to be negative just like most everyone else on the web who feels they have to get their hateful opinions out of them.

Yeah his stand up is for latino people its simple. A chicano might not get a Conan O'Brien joke but will laugh his ass off to a George Lopez joke

I'm Hispanic and completely understand how non-Hispanic people might not get his jokes. He talks about Sprite being a medicine growing up. Check. A crazy ugly fat aunt he had. Check. Your mom not waiting for you when you had to use the bathroom and/or pretending to leave the store to teach you a lesson. Check,

BUT that does not mean he's always funny. I caught an episode of the show and I was cringing. Me and my gf were in a different room to take a nap and could here the show on so we just had to get up and turn the TV off. It's horrible I agree, but I don't get why some people hate on him so hard when they're obviously not his demographic.

George Lopez' comedy stand-up is hilarious, his George Lopez show was also hilarious. But this talk show, was not. He was decent in the monologues, but once a guest came out, George would try his hardest to be funny the entire interview. He rarely went in-depth with people, he was always cracking jokes during the interview.

I would relate him to Arsenio Hall.

I really enjoyed the sitcom. I tried to convince my friends to watch it, but they hated him so much they wouldn't. I eventually got my best friend to watch it though, and he called me one night apologizing for hating on it for so long. I felt I had accomplished something. Talk show though... no thanks.

I'm suprised the talk show lasted as long as it did. I agree with his standup being hysterical and the sitcom was funny too because he used a lot of stand-up and Mexican inside-jokes but holy fuck this talk show was terrible. He should do something more natural for him.

It's basically Everybody Loves Hispanic Raymond, so no. It had it's moments though. It was major hit or miss for me, was either hilarious or awful.
