Nope, that band is solid. By far the most rewarding thing about this is how many people it will piss off and how many hateful youtube comments I'll get haha.

Haha it's just odd that you have a bunch of brutal breakdowns and then you end with that...
Check out:
The Devil Wears Prada - "Goats on a Boat" 1:45-2:05
Alove for Enemies - "The Resistance" 1:18-
Elysia - "Incinerate" The whole song haha
Parkway Drive - "Boneyards" 0:25-1:00
Parkway Drive - "Romance Is Dead" 1:48

that's a whole lot of bad music packed into one vid.
on a lighter and completely unrelated note, when the coyotes move, i hope they go back to the 'peg.

Yeah I've heard that Goats on a Boat one, probably TDWP's best.
Alove for Enemies - Pretty sick.
Elysia - br00tal lol
Also heard the two Parkway Drive ones. I love the Bonyards one.

There's some really good/respected bands in there. Born of Osiris, Set Your Goals, The Wonder Years, The Acacia Strain, etc. Some stuff I expect to get shit on though lol (BMTH, Emmure, etc). Whatever, this shit sounds damn good to me.
awful video
Needs some more Avenged Sevenfold and Atreyu eh? lol

oh god yes
Yeah #1 was a letdown. Not because it's not "s00per br00tal" or whatever but because...it was just boring. Nor did it fuck me in the ass.
On a positive note, I've never heard Foxy's old material, so that was pretty cool.

do they really have any breakdowns? I mean I know it's really heavy but I'm not sure if there are breakdowns, I could be wrong though.

I love that one.
Based on the comments, I won't watch. Know that I'm disappointed if the break in Angel of Death doesn't appear.
Whore To A Chainsaw > Infinite Death
The whole EP is solid. Personally, Infinite Death is the highlight though.

Haha totally named it that cus all those breakdowns vids on youtube are all called like "10 Brutal Breakdowns that Will Make You Want to Kill People" so I had to give mine a br00tal name ;-) As for Foxy, I like their old stuff a lot better personally.

They definitely do have breakdowns.

If you want to hear some sick ass breakdowns, go listen to the bled.
End of "Daylight bombings" And the end of "My Bitter Half" are a few of my favorites by them.

The top 20 ways someone can palm mute one chord while some other guy screams in the background, usually they're not words. Note that 90% of these breakdowns have someone growl "GOO!!!" right before they start.
lol no love for the Fall Out Boy breakdown. I just love it cus it's so out of character for them. But the version I used is shit, the album one is way better it just wouldn't let me import the file into Movie Maker.

i laughed really hard at the BMTH one where he goes "MOVE!!" and then it's like "chugga chugga chugga chugga chugga ting BAM"

Any peice of music which involved Sal Abruscato on drums.
The best of breakdowns can be found of Life Of Agony's 'River Runs Red'.
Also even though it's outside regular punk or hardcore.
I'd give a shout to Electric Wizard's 'Dopethrone'. There's some sick noise in that too.
Unearth - Endless
Most Precious Blood - Mad As The March Hare
Dead To Fall - Eternal Gates Of Hell

Life of Agony, I'm with you. Great record.
Dopethrone is fucking awesome, but I don't think there are breakdowns, per se, more like an all-consuming heaviness.
Dead to Fall - Stupid? has a sweet breakdown at the end.
"I've got a really original idea of how I think we should end this song... with a fucking breakdown!"
Dillinger Escape Plan - 43% Burnt
Can't fucking believe nobody's mentioned it yet.
I don't think that should really be in this conversation. It's a sweet outro riff and my favorite song on Calculating Infinity, but I don't think DEP really does 'breakdownz' or 'br00tality'.
Glad to see 'The Epigone' mentioned, I like that song too.

I love songs opening/ending with a great breakdown
a great example would be
War Of Ages - Heart Of A Warrior(Opening)
In The Midst Of Lions - Herod's Demise(Ending)
but props still goes to Raining Blood for one of the most recognizable breaks in MUSIC HISTORY

That entire disc is flawless, as is their newest one. They have to be the most underrated and under-appreciated hardcore band in the scene today. Sorry to hear about the other day not working out for yah; Have you ever gotten a chance to see them live?

Post here more often. Artificial Immortality is another great one from them. Also Love Rhymes With Hideous Car Wreck from the Blood Brothers is a great breakdown.
This thread isn't as good as the other breakdown thread though. Definitely needs to get bumped. That one BMTH dude needs to come back.

2. when the keyboard in this came in I started lol'ing real hard
3. MOOOOOOVE! makes me want to pee on girls
4. lolwut? this is the same band that just signed to Warner Brothers?
5. probably the only song on here I like. go figure.
6. heard it 928484 times before.
7. these guys have gotten so much better, alot better than this crap
8. kids from my high school would be stoked to see this on here.
9. this breakdown HAD to have been made using Garageband or something
10. ADTR! they're so like pop-punx n broootal at the same time! moshing AND singing!
11. well someone loves Four Year Strong...
12. actually I like this song too...
13. is it 2006 all over again?
14. band is a joke. plain and simple. makes FYS look like visionaries.
15. wtf is up with the nintendo noises and terrible sounding drums?
16. I like FYS but that song is so cheesy
17. can't even think of anything clever for this one...
18. their new stuff is alot better. this song screams Four Year Strong
19. could be alot worse
20. THAT was your number one? it was like 5 seconds.
moral of the story: myspace deathcore sucks and as much as I love pop-punk, this whole "heavy" pop-punk thing is getting real old
