Sweet, can't wait. I heard a rumor that they wern't doing the "Raw Rock" thing this time...is that true? I saw them play last month and they played one song off the new album and Ivory didn't do much...

Well they said that they weren't really going to scream that much this time around...something about how everyone is doing it...which I think is just lame, as it was a large part of their sound. Nevertheless, I'm still interested in how this turns out.

basically my thoughts on the new songs were "hey they've stopped trying too hard to sound like the refused!"

At least most of us hope so. Though if it's true about them ditching thier "raw rock" sound, it may also be true that they're ditching what made them different. Though, only time can tell. I hope it is amazing.

yeah I somewhat agree with that...I guess they will just lose some momentum on the album, because although this is stupid, everyone at the shows get the most pumped up and mosh the hardest when Ivory is up there doing his thing.

Haha, that's exactly what I thought about 'em when I first heard 'em, it's not in a bad way or anything, they got their own sound, but, yeah that's what it seemed like they were doing.

you won't be disapointed in the new album trust me. it's a killer record, and it's still "raw rock" they invented raw rock they aren't going to give up on something they made up. the new album just isn't as screamy as the last one, they still scream and stuff, but just not as much, it's more melodic but alot more hard hitting. it's a rock n roll record man, just sit back and love it.
