For my University dissertation on 'Popular Icons of the 20th Century' I have chosen the great Bob Dylan. I need to know opinions of all ages, both sexes, from all over the world on the questions below. I would appreciate as many coherent responses as possible. Thank-you for your time.

WHAT DOES BOB DYLAN OFFER YOU THAT OTHER ICONS DON'T?
WHY WERE YOU INITIALLY ATTRACTED TO HIM - WHAT DOES HE MEAN TO YOU?
HOW STRONGLY DO YOU FEEL ABOUT HIM AND WHY?
WHAT IS HIS LEGACY?
WHAT DOES HE MEAN TO INDIVIDUAL FANS IN CONTEMPORARY AND HISTORICAL CONTEXTS?
HOW AND WHY DO YOU THINK DYLAN HAS BEEN ABLE TO TRANSCEND GENERATIONS?

I am a GIANT Dylan fan, so i will be glad to do your questionare..

the questions seem somewhat redundanat so i will give you what dylan means to me......

when i see dylan, i dont see some incredible, flashy superstar, i see a normal guy, because of this his music means so much more to me, he doesnt just sing about wanting to hold someones hand, he sings about shit that matters, he sings with such a unique voice, and he finds ways of expressing emotions that i can only feel, the reason he has transcended through generations is beause he is able to write emotionally drivin music that anyone can relate to, it is timeless
