Thread to discuss FOB's song "Alpha Dog"
one of my personal favorites ATM

I know "alpha dog" means "top dog"
and I looked up "megalomaniac" and found that as a noun it means a self centered person

So it would seem to me the song is about a self centered top dog

I like the song, but it doesn't need it's own thread. The official FOB thread is the best place to put it.

I read somewhere from an interview with Pete Wentz that one of the songs that they were working on (not sure if it made it on the CD or not) were from the points of view of Andy Hurley and Joe Trohman regarding Patrick and Pete. I am not 100% sure, but I could see Pete considerin he and Patrick either an alpha dog or megalomaniac.

But to be honest the rest of the lyrics can't really relate to that, so I may be totally wrong.

May point is this song is awesomely awesome (yup, I said it). And the movie "Alpha Dog" is also unreal. I quote it way too much... luckily no one has seen it hahahah.

great song. not sure of the meaning exactly, but it and "from now on we are enemies" are amazing. they keep getting better.
