Great Weekend for Sports in America

I assume that around the world all other sports have stopped because of the world cup. But in America this is an absolutely fantastic weekend for sports. I will be spending my time watching the World Cup and the French Open. But we also have:
NHL Finals
NBA Finals
Belmont Stakes
MLB regular season
College Baseball playoffs
Barclays (golf tournament)
pretty good weekend for sports, something for everyone...

its marketing, i think. putting basketball on a sunday is more likely to attract neutral viewers, since sunday is a big television night. if the game were tonight, a lot of neutral people would likely go out instead of watching it. it does piss me off though, that they get these days off between games 1 and 2, but not on travel days. but as a heat fan, more days off helps us.
