One of our users submitted this and I was kind of wondering the same thing: "Am I the only one that noticed that the Spin.com "Band Of The Year" (http://www.spin.com/bandoftheyear/) competition just completely stopped? The Round 3 results have been in for months, and none have been posted...does anyone know what happened with this?".

Well I remember hearing something about cheating happening in the earlier rounds. So maybe they decided to call it off.

Spin is in the middle of a complete overhaul, this contest probably just got lost in the shuffle. Also, really lame bands were nominated, so maybe they quit out of disgust.

i asked the guys in valencia what had happened and they had no idea. don't you think if it was called off, they would have at least let the bands know?
