So far this game has been SLOW!

That was a weak penalty on Kevin Adams though, I can't believe they would call that garbage in the finals.

at least edmonton has the early lead. i don't prefer one team over the other so all i'm rooting for is a well-played, long series.

Man, the refs blew this game. I'm glad Edmonton won, but Jesus, they were awful!

Quite a boring game in my opinion. I don't care who wins the series but I'm glad that Edmonton won tonight because then there's at least 5 games in the series. A 7-game series would be really nice.

How so? You cannot honestly tell me that the officiating was good in that game. Some of those calls against Carolina were ludacris

The officiating has been horrible all year/playoffs. Thank god for the oilers win, i dont know f i can take the canes winning this.

they call a lot more penalties, there are new rules in place, i dont think the officiating has been THAT bad.
anyway, im glad edmonton won, hopefully they can take game 4 as well

There were 2 penalties to Carolina in the first period that not even the commentaters could find, after a replay. I know there's new rules and such, but if you're going to call a penalty, make sure it's actually worth calling, especially in the finals

ha, i only caught the 2nd and 3rd periods. but i know what you mean, i have seen some bad calls in the playoffs. i guess its just getting used to the new rules. officials should not ruin the series, and hopefully will not.

Every team has had this go against them in the playoffs and edmonton has had the same treatment as well in the finals.

I fucking hate Mick Magoo. He shouldn't even be allowed to ref in the regular season he sucks so bad. Let alone the playoffs.
