They are really good, but for some reason I can only handle them in small doses. I don't really understand it.

I've had 0101010101 on repeat for the last 2 hours. If anyone knows where I can obtain MP3's of that album please let me know (I only have the vinyl). I think they're releasing a discog soon but I really can't wait that long.

My favorite screamo band and album...their other stuff is great too, just not the same. Oh, and they've been saying they'll release the discog "soon" since last june. Check their website/myspace (http://portraitsofpast.com/, last updated 6/29/06), so I wouldn't hold out hopes on that. Their demo vocals are really weird, I've always wondered who did that background really wetsounding screams?

I could see that argument being made for their demo material, but their actual album probably has the best handling of screaming I've ever heard.

I have the split with Bleed on 7". It's cool, I only listened to it once though. Well, stacks more on PC.


Anyway, Bang Yer Head is fucking EPIC.

Much prefer 0101010101.
