ok maybe no one cares but im really disturbed by this.

in the state in which i live (including 8 others) sodomy is completely illegal. the story that brought this to my attention is this (sorry im shitty at links and this would be faster anyway):

Two men (a couple of years ago) were inside there own apartment having consentual sex, and some ass-hole redneck neighbor (all in the article) called the cops and said someone was braking into the apartment next door. The cops came and arrested both men for charges of sodomy. Now its fucking years later and the supreme court is having a fucking tough time with deciding to overturn these mens convictions.

in truth this means in these states (not really sure what all 9 are). by the definition of sodomy that, guys, if cops catch you going down on your girlfriend or even worse them stoping our chick from going down on us we will be arrested. but this will never happen because we're "NORMAL"

I think that linking: consentual homosexual sex, oral sex, sex with animals, and a new york city cop shoving a broom stick up some homeless guys ass is fucking rediculous. all of which go under the same fucking law. The last 2 things should still be illegal but fuck they're obvious.

fucking conservative christians are against every form of sex but the kind that makes babies.

i know one of those states is north carolina. my dad lives there and i have like 2 friends there and they were telling me about it one day. but i dont think thats right. if people want to do things in their own time in their own place why should they be bothered? and why is it anyone elses business what people are doing? they shouldnt call the cops on false charges and get the people arrested. people are pretty messed up now.

It is not legal but if they both agree then it should be depending on the age. I mean if a girl is 17 and her boyfriend is 18 that is illegal for them to have sex even if they were doing it when he was 17. That right there makes no sense.

suicide is legal in canada, and it shoud be in the US too. Its more selfish to make a person live when all they wan't is to die then it would be for said person to kill themselves. Its your body, not mine, not the governments. It will be a cold day in hell before I condone the government passing laws limiting what one can do to themselves.

well, in most cases suicide can be prevented, and whatever tragedy is in your life or however terrible your life is help is possible. But thats not in all cases. OVERALL I believe(my opinion) is that you shouldn't take your life, or anyone elses for that matter.

I'll agree with you that in most cases it can be prevented, but I don't nessesarily agree that it should. Don't get me wrong, I don't support sucide, but its not my body, its not my life.

no it is a big deal if you fuck it up. then they want to commit you somewhere or force you to see someone (and if you dont they commit you). some states are different than others though in the laws concerning suicide. if youre lucky theres a way to get out of any mandated psychiatric stuff, but i also know peopel who have been sent away for a half of a year becuase of the laws and what not.

Here in the Uk, the lgal age for consensual sex is 16, and ur allowed alchohol at 18. We also have one of the highest teenage pregnancy rates in the world. Ahh, for a liberal government.

I have thought about it, i went so far as to plan it all out, but in the end i didn't and I'm glad I didn't. I'd have missed out on a lot of great things. My band, new friends, my girlfrind (who I absolutly adore), but Because of what I went through, I now belive more then ever that it is a personal decison. Right now i have some friends who want to kill themselves, and essentally what I tell them is that I think they should reconcider, maybe seek some councelling, but in then end I will respect what ever decsion they make.

The problem with the teenage pregnancies in the UK is that too many people under 16 have sex. They contribute it the most.

I actually don't see a problem with the current age restriction.
