what do you mean, they see it differently? tom, mark and travis see music the way they have been looking at it. sure, there are not as many fart jokes and fuck your mom jokes, but they still play music the way they have been. tom plays more seriously, but he didnt start with AVA - he did with ST and BCR. mark is playing more electronically, but he has wanted to play electronically. travis likes hip-hop so he plays with the hip-hop artists

But u judge only by clothes?! i don't think it is that way! People have different tastes....moreover these rastes change with age and time! i think that they just went different ways, each finding new inspiration and motivation!

I think that dismemberment of Blink is a good thing. +44's song is one of the best "emo" songs that I have heard and, if that isn't enough, the whole outfit of Angels and Airwaves is. Blink was fun while they lasted but I'm willing to except the now, you know? The break-up just seems to fit.

That said, you (but correct me if I'm wrong) don't know Mark Hoppus. You didn't know Mark Hoppus five years ago either. While it may seem to be the same "public" Mark Hoppus, I bet you'd be surprised just how much a little publicity can do to a person.

I have nothing to say about his character because I don't know him either. However, I can guarantee you that he is not the same Mark as he was five years ago. Even if he is the same person in his actions, he is not the same in his thoughts; when you see the ugly side of the music industry you'll never think of it the same way again.

Anyways, back to the Travis Barker thing. Calling him a spoiled thug is one of the most ridiculously retarded things I've read on this website. He is mostly a session drummer now; what he does is basically play, record and appear alongside other artists for a paycheck.

If you think that sounds shallow, it's not. So many people do it. You'd be surprised. Hell, if somebody offered me money to record a few tracks for somebody I would do it for sure. Besides, Travis Barker didn't even record the drum tracks on Enema Of The State. Josh Freese did.

The reality show was a really bad idea, but I'm pretty sure that Travis is/was working for his money, at least at one point.

I think they were just coming into their prime whith the self-titled album, it was more mature and sincere than anything they had come out with before that, and now the world will never be able to know where they could've taken it in the future. it is a sorry loss for us.

I don't even like Blink-182...at all. I always thought Tom Delonge was a asshat, but I didn't mind Mark and Travis. So I'm a (+44) fan.

As far as Blink never coming back together, I say thank god. AVA's terrible, only because Tom rushed his CD.

Yes, Angels and Airwaves has taken a different direction from Blink... And most bands out right now, actually. That's why I want them to persevere. Their music is a positive, mature message that is lost in all of the "scene" bands. Tom Delonge, with AvA has moved into rock star status and I hope he continues to elevate.
