what do you guys think of the main event of ONS.

RVD new ECW HeavyWeight Champ.

Cena Still WWE champ.

heyman is an official in ECW not wwe so i doubt he can call that a victory.

I haven't watched the WWE in so long... The last time I actually watched it was when ECW was bought out by the WWE... I used to go to the ECW Arena in South Philly all the time to watch matches... Is it it's own enitity again or is ECW still under the WWE...

what would you guys give the ppv? id give it probably a C, some shit was retarded...like the taz squash on lawler, the angle/orton match was incredibly boring, and the ending of the sabu match totally ruined an awesome match.

I'd probably give it a C, too.

The Lawler/Tazz match was hilarious, I thought. First the gigantor smack on Styles and then the 5 second tap out. I was cracking up.

Angle/Orton was painfully boring.

I hate Bradshaw.

The bump during Mysterio/Sabu was insane.

Funk/Dreamer/Foley all delivered. I hate Edge and have no idea why he is no. 1 contender or whatever the hell.

Big Show ragdolling Mamaluke was hilarious, even if it made no god damn sense.

Mahoney/Tanaka could have been a lot better.

RVD is the shit.

Blahblahblah. It was all right, but too many original ECW pieces were missing. I'm definitely going to be watching ECW on Sci-Fi, though.

I'm kinda glad I didn't get the PPV. I would've loved to see Cena and Orton get owned by the crowd (best part about it ) but I'll just download a torrent or something later to watch that.

Plus, HBK is going to be there.

Raw will be awesome tonight. Even though Cena will probably get the title back. Fuck. As long as Edge wins it at Vengeance (he's on pace to), I'll be happy.

Oh yeah, and the crowd was hilarious. The teepeeing of the ring and the wiping of Cena's shirt in that fat dude's ass and the kid who punched Orton and that dude in the crowd who was wearing a Yalmulke, all hilarious. I wanted to start a chant tally, but I didn't think of it until like a half hour in and there had been already 30 chants. Haha.

The plan as of now is for RVD to hold the belt through RAW and for Cena to appear on the first episode of ECW on Sci Fi. Where they go with it from there, I dont know.

That could all chance though, WWE is "clearing up the title situation" on RAW tonight though.

It is obvious Cena will get the belt back, yet RVD will be the ECW champion. Should be very interesting.

Yeah. I think Cena's going to get the title back tonight and RVD will be the new ECW champion in the end. That really sucks, because I'm fucking sick of Cena, but we'll see.

If Edge takes the belt off Cena at Vengeance, that will just make my time at Vengeance much much better.

RVD is gonna get stripped of the belt tonight, Heyman will flip his shit cuz Edge knocked out the Smackdown ref, declare RVD ECW Champion anyway, and ressurect the old ECW belt and its title history.

Probably a 3 way at Vegenece between RVD, Edge and Cena

thats my predictions anyway.

but seriously this was the best PPV we were gonna get out of what they had to work with. ya, we'd all love to see new jack and the dudleyz and raven and whatever back in ECW but some of these things just arent ever gonna happen. take it at face value. it was very entertaining, moreso than anything since ECW died 5 years ago (except maybe ONS 2005) that has happened on mainstream television in the wrestling world (ROH is great but until they get even a shitty ECW esque 3am spanish channel TV deal they arent even on the radar of most people).

it was obviously thrown together since the entire ecw thing has been thrown together, in 6 months this is going to be great. get the ovw guys in there and it will be rad...i personally thought one of the new guys coming into ecw should have cost van dam the belt last night and setting up the 1st big feud but im sure had that happened wwe was fearing a riot to break loose.

Now that I think about it I know the reason why they did give the win to RVD. Now that Cena is no longer champion the WWE will be making a new heavyweight belt because the whole spinner design was centered around him. Look for a more traditional one soon.

they gave the win to RVD because ECW needs a title. if they don't give it edge in two weeks than i see a tournament to make a new championship for raw. But i can also see edge winning the championship and ECW bringing back the old belt with the history of the old belt

Edge is probably going to win the title at Vengeance. It'll give him even more heel heat, and an actual good champion for the summer. He's probably going to lose the title at Summerslam to HHH.

thats what happens when your wife's dad owns the company. HHH is given so much control over the whole operation and his character that its ridiculous. Orton was poised to become the next big thing a la Stone Cold, The Rock, HHH but they fizzled him out by giving him the title for only a month.

I would rather see the title on Triple H than on Orton.

Orton is the prime example of someone who is where they are because of who their daddy is.

Triple H has pull backstage, obviously, but not the insane amount that people think. If that was true he wouldnt have not had the title for so long.


ECW update, tonight's show will be on tape delay. It was supposed to be after Smackdown, but Sci Fi is freaking out about the chants they heard at the PPV. Joy.
