so the punk thread has their three piece bands thread.

alternative, being that much better, has two piece bands.

my two favorites are The Black Keys and Local H. two bands that have two members, a sound that conveys that they would have three or four, and on nearly every single song they each have. not even the white stripes can claim that.

discuss.

Last days of april are just Karl and Andreas. On record though there are more involved, so i guess they aren't a true 2-piece band. The point is: LDOA > all.

DFA1979, Mates of State, and Ratatat would be my favourite two piece bands, UNLESS The Postal Service counts... Theres only two of them if you don't inclued that person who did the female vocals (i can't think of her name at the moment)
