Larry Clark has a new film titled Wassup Rockers (http://www.wassuprockers.net/) about a group of latino skaters growing up. I've heard some good things about it.

lol latino skaters
Why is this funny?
This movie looks really good. In case you live in NY, there's a bloc party/free screening/skate session in Bushwick NY on Sat. June 17
Skate session will be on the street, the movie screening will be on the rooftop of the building.

Ps: no more ignorant/racist comments please
I'm mexican, and "lol latino skaters" was mildly offensive.
There's too many ignorant idiots out there already, keep them off AP, thanks..

This looks cool - Larry Clark has definetly made some interesting movies, and I'm curious to see what he did with this one.

This movie looks like it would have the most mainstream appeal out of all his movies...but with Larry Clark, I don't know what to expect.

This movie looks good, and don't judge it by the title. It's just a quote from the movie, I think it's what the other kids in the projects where they live say to them when they skate by. That's what I remember from the trailor.

I hate trailers that explain the entire movie.

I saw this during the Phildadelphia film festival. It's a fun movie that just follows a day with the guys in the film. They were real characters who played themselves, and "Wassup Rockers" is just what all the gangsters in the projects say to them because they're different and outcast there. It's not going to win any academy awards or anything, but I liked it and thought it was worth seeing.
