won't happen. most parents aren't down with hardcore/screamo UO awesomeness so they're nowhere near as marketable. however i'm stoked by the attention they're getting all around on this record.

This is my favorite video of the year so far. Reminds me of the movie "City Of Lost Children" for some reason. Oh well. To each his own, I suppose.

touché... but i haven't watched a minute of MTV in over a year. but i'm pretty safe in assuming they weren't being played much when he screamed were they? once he cleaned his voice they've been everywhere. but you don't see this going on for ETID or FBTMOF are you?

The video for their second single was #1 on TRL for a short while and it has almost as much screaming as this Underoath song.

Underoath has no plans to go to a major they actually turned down a bunch that wanted them already.

To prove how little they want to be on a major they recently resigned to T&N for more records becuase it's a solid team that works together and does things for the right reasons.

Yeah I just thought it was too all over the place. I am a fan of a good clear narrative in music videos, and this is just too surreal and weird. And also I don't really think it fits the song. Like the weird kids doing gymnatics and a crazy dad murdering a butler? I don't consider Underoath a morbid band and this video, to me, shows them as so. But yes to each his own.

haha yeah i guess that was kind of an ass thing to say, but can someone please tell me what is good about this video? I am just really disappointed in it. Like what does underoath or this song have to do with butler murder and gymnastic children?

hold on a quick sec. you don't like this video because you haven't even thought about it? is that it? if every single video is straight performance, or the usual performance shot, concept shot, performance shot, where will music videos be in the future? the same place as now! i applaud this attempt to tie narrative and performance together. what did you want underoath to do, show churches in florida? will that more accurately represent them as a band? i think this video is very cool, and i think it makes you watch it over and over again to really try to figure out what it happening, which is guess is a great marketing strategy within itself, but it's also a very artsy/freaky video.

as for your comment on hair, seriously. why do people feel the need to tell us about things like that?
