So, I have the habit of becoming one sweaty bastard in public situations (i.e. speaking etc.) and i'm going to be an usher at my cousin's wedding in a couple weeks. I know walking down the aisle and standing up during the ceremony will not be much fun...does anyone know of any ways or OTC medications that like calm you down or something so maybe i'm not so nervous and don't sweat?

ecstasy.if you do lots of x, it will screw up your body temperature so you'll get really cold. like hypthermia cold cause your body wont be able to regulate itseld so you'll get really cold but you wont sweat. also, there's a chance cardiac arrest.

I think there's some shit out there that like clogs the pores in your armpits and will prevent you from sweating. It might be called Certain-Dri or something like that, and I think you're only supposed to use it twice a week to get the best results.

Deodorant cures it. If it's really bad a doctor can prescribe a drug for it.

i used something called "dri-clor" after trying loads of other crap that just stained my clothes pretty much! its a roll on antiperspirant.
either way, Dri-Clor worked a dream, i recommend.

Being an usher blows. Nobody would listen to us when we told them to sit down. Then after the wedding we had to control the traffic flow as people went to greet the bride and groom. So we had to make all these people sit in their seats forever and they were just staring at us. Fun times.
Boy, can't wait :(

We were at an outdoor wedding though, so people were just standing around all over the place. I'm sure it'd be easier in a church because once they walk in the sanctuary area, they're pretty much expected to get seated. I'm a groomsman in my friend's wedding next weekend. Then in July I have to be an usher again for a kid I have never even liked. It's strange.
Weird...I kind of experienced the same thing, my Aunt got married outside and I was an usher for that as well, but it was a hawaiian themed wedding for the bridal party, so I was cool in my hawaiian t-shirt.
